Comfort Plan: Year-Round Coverage
Atlas offers a Comfort Plan, which is a maintenance plan to keep your HVAC system running smoothly. Twice a year, our team visits your home to thoroughly inspect and clean your system, helping catch potential issues before they become costly repairs.
We’ll keep you informed about anything we find, provide proactive recommendations, and help make sure your system is ready to keep you comfortable through every season. Plus, you’ll enjoy valuable year-round benefits that give you added peace of mind.

MAINTENANCE Plan services
The Atlas Comfort Plan provides routine maintenance of the HVAC system two times per year, including, but not limited to, inspection, cleaning, lubricating and testing the components of the system. Regular checks will be performed on heating and cooling functionality, air quality and overall system performance, including the following:
Services Performed Every Visit:
- Test and calibrate thermostats.
- Check all motor amperage draws.
- Check refrigerant charge.
- Check evaporator suction line temperatures.
- Lubricate moving parts as applicable.
- Check belts and adjust tensions as needed.
- Check pressure and cut out settings.
- Check start capacitors and potential relays if applicable.
- Check compressor Contactors.
- Clean blowers if needed.
- Oil/Grease bearings if needed.
- Check all wiring and wiring connections; tighten, clean, and repair as necessary.
- Clean/Wash evaporator and condenser coil as necessary.
- Clear drain lines and check condensate drain operations.
- Remove debris and clean condensate pan.
Additional Services Performed in the Fall:
- Check reversing valves. (In Heat Pumps)
- Cycle colling system to verify proper operation.
- Check defrost controls operations. (Heat Pumps Only)
- Check and adjust all safety controls.
- Clean burners and pilots. (Gas Furnace)
- Check spark ignition operation (Gas Furnace)
- Check for gas leaks.
- Check gas valve and check pressure. (Gas Furnace)
- Check amp draw on each heat strip. (Electric Heaters)
- Check sequence of operation. (Electric Heaters)
- Cycle heating system to verify proper operation.
Under our maintenance plan, we may make a recommendation for an immediate or future actions needed to maintain operation. These are always made with your comfort and safety in mind. Any recommendations are proactive solutions to problems we see, but we will never make a recommendation designed only to charge you additional fees. In fact, as a member of our Comfort Plan, you will receive many additional benefits, as listed below.
Atlas Comfort Plan Benefits
We are proud to offer extra benefits to customers enrolled in our Comfort Plan. You will receive 15% off parts and services performed through the year, priority service when you call us, and no additional fees for after-hours work performed.
Full Year: Customers must enroll in a 12-month maintenance agreement. If the maintenance plan is canceled or any month unpaid before the 12-month commitment is fulfilled, the customer will be responsible for the difference between promotional pricing received and the regular retail price of any services or parts applied during the agreement.
Total System: the 15% discount can not apply to a total system replacement.
Atlas Comfort Plan Benefits
In keeping our customer’s first in mind, we charge a small fee (per unit) every month.
Twice a year, we will reach out to you to schedule a maintenance visit. During each visit, our team will make sure your unit is operating efficiently to help catch small issues before they become bigger, more expensive problems.

Spring Visit: Our team will visit in the spring to make sure your air conditioner is cleaned, operating efficiently, and ready to take on the summer heat.

Fall Visit: Completed between September and December, our team will help ensure your heating system operates safely and efficiently to keep you comfortable in the cooler winter months.
